Immediate past Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology of Ondo State, Dr. Femi Agagu has been nominated for award of excellence as SURGE Ambassador by University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo.
In a letter of notification signed by the Registrar of the varsity, Dr. Woleola Ekundayo, it was stated that Dr. Agagu was selected for the award as a result of his contributions to the development of the university.
According to the letter, “SURGE is acronym for Support for UNIMED’s Renaissance,Growth and Expansion. The SURGE award is given in recognition of individuals who have made significant to the University’s growth and development.
“This meritorious award is in recognition of your believe in and significant for the University of Medical Sciences, particularly your significant contributions towards the development of the University.”
Dr. Agagu would be conferred with the award during the 10th anniversary of the varsity at the dinner and honour night programme on December 11, 2024.”
