Unity of Owo and Ose is achievable through institutionalised traditional rulers – Adelegbe
The Lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe has reassured his Constituents of his strong commitment toward unifying both Owo and Ose communities through traditional institutions.
Adelegbe made this known in Owo when he paid a courtesy visit to the new Olowo-elect Prince Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye.
“Kabiesi, I’m here to say a big Congratulations once again to you on your selection as the new Olowo. I’m equally excited because we have someone who is not only young and approachable but vibrant as a king”
The lawmaker said the unity of Owo and Ose is one of his priorities. “It is my desire to unify the two constituencies through our traditional institutions. If Ojude Oba can bring diverse people from all works of life to Ogun state in promoting their culture and unity, it is also achievable here in our Constituency”
While appreciating the Lawmaker, the Olowo-elect Prince Ogunoye extolled the leadership quality in Otunba Adelegbe. He added that both Ose and Owo have same historical background. He equally assure the lawmaker of his readiness to be part of his programmes that will bring development to Owo kingdom.
“It is in my agenda too to ensure unity and our youths are gainfully employed and as you have itemized it, I will be part of this programme” he added.
