Special Press Release to all PDP members in Ondo State.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wishes, for the umpteenth time, to inform its teeming members, supporters, far and near, and the entire people of Ondo State that the party has concluded its 2016 governorship primary election which produced Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) as its flag bearer.
Consequently, the PDP is putting machineries in place to ensure that the party coasts to victory in the election which holds on November 26, 2016.
To this end, the Chairman of our great party, Engr. Clement Faboyede has directed that all Eyitayo Jegede support groups stand dissolved.
As such, individual supporters and support groups are hereby directed to return to their various units, wards and local government councils to enhance well coordinated campaign activities.
Within the next one week, the party will unveil its programmes and activities preceding the gubernatorial election in a calendarised format.
The party also urges all groups to stop agitations on the issue of deputy governorship candidate of the party.
The party would, at the appropriate time, do what is fair, just and politically strategic to guarantee our overwhelming success at the poll.
Therefore, all forms of agitation on the social media should also stop, henceforth.
The party has set up a monitoring mechanism to identify any one or group of persons who may want to violate this directive.
The party assures that with oneness and hard work, victory is certain for the PDP.
