Following the ugly trend of insecurity in the South West region of the country, State Governors from the region, under the aegis of South West Governors Forum, will on Tuesday hold a security summit in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The summit is coming on the heels of a state security summit, organised by the Akeredolu administration in Ondo State earlier this year.

The summit is expected to address issues bothering on the challenges associated with kidnapping and other worrisome security issues across the South West.

The event will come up on Tuesday, 25th June, 2019, at the Theophilus Ogulesi Hall, Opposite UCH, Queen Elizabeth Road, Ibadan.
