Chief Rotimi Ibidapo, also known as Bassey, The Atunluse of Owo, Agba Akin of IjebuOwo and Mayegun of Iyere-Land has opened a new hotel to boost the chances of Ondo state as a tourist destination. The world class hotel along the busy Owo-Ikare-Abuja road was opened with fanfare and razzmatazz on Thursday, the 31st of March, 2016.
The new hotel, BEST WESTERN PLUS / MYDAS HOTEL & RESORT is an international four star brand with warm, stylish rooms and suites. Major features that stand the hotel out are free Wifi, flast screen TVs and state of the art coffee makers. The hotel boasts of 24 hours room service.
While officially declaring the hotel open for hospitality business and tourism, the Ooni of Ife Oba Enitan Ogunwusi said Cheif Rotimi Ibidapo has shown that he is concerned about the tourism ad advancement of Ondo state. He noted that Ibidapo’s state for style is revealed in the tastefully furnished hotel and there is no gain saying the fact more conferences and seminars will now hold in the hotel.
