The leading aspirant for Ondo Governorship Seat under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim has continued to intensify efforts at winning the party’s primary as he held a strategic meeting with his campaign supervisors across the 203 wards in Ondo State.
Addressing participants today in Akure, venue of the the statewide strategic meeting, Sen. Ibrahim said the essence is to scale up the campaign.
He also used the opportunity to assure the supervisors that he will not disappoint them and the people of Ondo State, stressing that God has already blessed him with wealth and that his mandate in politics is driven by the passion to serve the people.
Most of the supervisors who spoke at the event gave account of their stewardship.
They also promised to deliver their respective wards during the primary election while particularly commending Sen. Ibrahim for doing a good job across the state.
Giving an assessment of the impact of the meeting, the Director of Strategic Communications for Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim Campaign Organization also known as Aseyori Group, Barr. Banji Okunomo said he was impressed with the turnout of the supervisors who are financial members of the party.
According to him, Sen. Ibrahim unlike other aspirants who have left the field and relocated to Abuja, has been meeting with the people.
“Sen. Ibrahim has been on the field working and meeting the people. He is a true democrat and he has shown that he will not disown the people when he clinches the party’s ticket”.
” As a Democrat,Senator Ibrahim is banking on the power of the people. That explains why the people are also giving him their support”, he added just as he stressed a personal conviction that Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim will strategically win at the primaries.
