Raise the bar of excellence, Mrs Akeredolu urges students
As students resume for the new academic session in Ondo State, the wife of the State Governor, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has charged teachers to introduce innovative approaches to teaching and learning process.
In a statement signed by her Press Secretary, Miss Oluwatobi Omosalewa Fademi, Mrs. Akeredolu also urged students and pupils to make academic excellence their watchword in order to surmount the challenges ahead of them.
She further encouraged them to raise the bar of excellence, adding that as the term progresses she would continue to monitor outstanding academic performance and social well being of the students.
She observed that the world is now driven by ICT and thus her interest is premised on ensuring students are ICT equipped, stating that the BEMORE Girls Boot camp and Tennis Clinic which took place during the holiday were necessary to broaden the horizon of the children and harness their potentials as the future leaders of tomorrow.
The First Lady who lauded parents and teachers for their support to the Akeredolu- led administration, also urged them to provide necessary support that could ensure the children as future leaders of Nigeria achieve their dreams.
