Honourable Mike Omogbehin

Born on April 13, 1963, the amiable Legislator hailed from the Lubokun Dynasty in Osooro Kingdom in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State. Though born a prince, Honourable Mike Omogbehin is quick to tell anyone who comes across him that he is a prince who eats with his bare fingers. The irony of the parodoxical statement is not lost on some of those who have personal encounter with him. Honourable Mike Omogbehin mingles easily with the low and dines with the mighty in the society seamlessly without any airs around him. Hon Omogbehin is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.

Background and Education

Honourable Mike Omogbehin did not have the benefit of direct education beyond secondary school which he did at Igbotako Community Grammar School, Igbotako, in Ondo State unlike majority of those in his age group then who went to the elite schools in the region. He had to work to fend for himself and also to foot the bills of his younger siblings who were already in school. At a very tender age, he was already a father figure to his brothers and sisters.

But, he never lost focus. As a person resolutely determined and ruggedly committed to having higher education in spite of several initial setbacks, through private studies, he is now a humble holder of an array of certificates and diplomas to his credit which includes: Professional Diploma in Management(NIM DIP), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State; Advance Diploma, Financial Managment, Federal University of Technology, Owerri; Post Graduate Diploma, Financial Management, FUTO; MBA, Project Management, FUTO; Global Project Management College, United Kingdom, Executive Master Certificate, Project Management, Certified British Project Professional, CBPP . He is a member of Global Project Professional Society and also chartered member ot the Nigerian Institute of Management.
