Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, OSOPADEC, may partner up with the State agency for the control of AIDS – ODSACA – to quicken the HIV service uptake in the oil producing areas. Specifically , the two bodies may synergize to promote testing and counselling for HIV, eliminate mother to child transmission and treat the virus.

He also said that there were only eleven functional sites for the elimination of mother to child transmission and HIV testing services in the area, while only one site was available for anti-retroviral therapy.
Also present at the meeting were: the Chairman of the Commission, Barr. Olugbenga Edema, Director, Finance & Administration, Apostle Akinsola Orisamoluwa and Director, Community Welfare, Mr. Wale Mafolabomi.
