ONDO YOUTHS IN SAFE HANDS WITH EYITAYO AT THE HELM
Following the opening of the Eyitayo Volunteer Group (EVG) office to the public on Thursday 19th May, 2016, the No. 44, Oyemekun Road office has become a “Mecca” to interested individuals and volunteer groups across the State.
While receiving leaders of two youth groups from Akoko South West and Akoko North East Local Government Areas, the EVG State Corrdinator, Hon. Olumide Ogunkua welcomed them and said he believed their coming was divinely arranged being the first meeting that will take at the office and because another meeting was actually slated to be the first to take place at the office.
Hon. Ogunkua said by their coming he’s convinced of the commitment of Akokos to the Eyitayo Project. He said the EVG became necessary in order to give all groups and individuals who believe in Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) a veritable platform to actualize their goal, since they have found in him a worthy personality with the requisite character and antecedents in whom they are willing to invest their hope and mandate to lead the State at this critical period of our National life.
While speaking, Mr. Samuel Oluwatoyin Akogunrin from Akoko South West Ward 2 said he came on behalf of himself and several other youths from his constituency to join their voice to the call on Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) to heed the clarion call of the people to serve, he said, “with the credibility of Eyitayo, we are sure he will not toy with the lives of the people and the future of our youths will not be mortgaged”.
Making his contribution, Engr.Omotola Olakunle from Akoko North East Local Government said with the establishment of EVG and the opening of a State Coordinating office, people who have sought an organized channel through which they could express themselves in tangible terms for the actualization of the dream will be glad. He promised to go back to his constituency to commence work in earnest.
The EVG State Coordinator, Hon. Olumide Ogunkua thereafter thanked them for coming and wished them safe return to their various constituencies.
