Traders in Ondo state have pledged their support for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ondo November gubernatorial election, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN.
The traders, who converged at the Olukayode market in Akure, assured Mr Jegede that they will work and vote for him at the polls because he is personable and because they are fascinated by his achievements as a two-term attorney general in the state.
Jegede acknowledged the traders as key participants in the socio-economic development of the State and vowed to make them viable partners of his government.
He enjoined the traders to vote the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP)in November to take the State to greater heights and to bring all their requests to fruition ,including a friendlier environment for business to business men & women.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Olukayode Traders, Charles Balogun, promised to rally his colleagues to work for the victory of Eyitayo Jegede come November because they belief in his candidature and abilities to deliver.
