Indigenes of Ondo State domicile in United State of America, (USA) under the aegis of Ondo State Forum America (OSFA) has joined the league of eminent indigenes who have congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and his deputy Hon. Agboola Ajayi, over their success at the November 26, 2016 governorship election held in the state.

In a release signed by the President Prof Salewa Olafioye of the association and its Secretary, Prince Oladokun Faduyile, as well as other Executive members of the forum, Erelu Oodua Mabel Onaneye (Welfare Officer), Dr. Patra Kidwell (Ass. Liaison Officer), Hon. Francis Awosika (Vice President), Pastor Kelly Akinjole, Liaison Officer,  a copy of which was made available to Journalists, congratulated the Governor-elect and tasked him to chart a new course for the welfare of the people of the state.

The America-based Ondo indigenes also tasked the Governor-elect and his deputy to do everything within their capacities by paying regularly, the salary and arrears of workers in the sate including the retiree.

The forum while reiterating their unalloyed supports towards the success of Akeredolu administration, however stressed the needs for him to run an open and encompassing administration that would give room for all indigenes at home and in diaspora to contribute meaningfully towards the success of his administration.

Speaking on his inauguration, the Ondo Indigenes in America, also congratulated the people inauguration committee put in place by the Governor-elect over the success of the programme, urged the people of Ondo State to continue to support Akeredolu, before, during and after the inauguration programme.
