Ondo health workers back, Jegede * Says Gov Mimiko has done well in health sector
Members of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Ondo State Chapter, has okayed the candidature of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This happened at the NMA House, Alagbaka, Akure, where the Body of Doctors received Mr. Eyitayo Jegede and presented document of preferred health policies to him.
The Doctors spoke to the Doctors on the need to uphold the National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS) for the state, noting that the scheme a is very important issue and as a matter of fact, the way to go.
Doctors told the candidate that the government of Governor Mimiko has achieved so much in the health sector and deserve commendation to this effect.
Mr. Jegede, in his remark, appreciated the association and explained to them that he has visited the group to introduce himself and political pursuit and to seek knowledge to the effect of what should be done in the sector in the interest of the populace.
Earlier, Environmental Health Officers in Ondo State have expressed solidarity for Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 26 governorship election in the state.
The sanitisers in a meeting held at NULGE Hall, along the popular Ilesa park, Akure, lauded Mr. Jegede, describing him as one of their own who has done so much to help the health department.
