Barr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), also known as Aketi, a governorship aspirant for Ondo 2016 under the All Progressives Congress (APC) celebrated his 60th birthday with glitz and glamour on Saturday in Owo.
OndoEvents reports that the town of Owo played host to dignitaries of timbre and caliber ranging from government officials, political heavyweights in the state and the country, religion leaders, friends and well wishers.
Among dignitaries is the first citizen of Ondo State, Gov. Olusegun Mimiko, Prof. Claudius Daramola, the Minister of State on Niger Delta, the APC Chairman in Ondo State Barr. Isaacs Kekemeke, fellow APC governorship aspirants, Barr Olusola Oke, Dr. Tunji Abayomi, others are Justice Sehinde Kumuyi, Chief Olujimi and host of others.
The event which held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church as religion leaders prayed for Akeredolu and thank God for making it possible for him to witness his 60th birthday anniversary in good health and peace of mind.
Akeredolu in his message, thanked all his well wishers for gracing the occasion and told them that they would all come back to the church for thanksgiving when he won the governorship election scheduled for Nov. 26 across the state.
” I thank you all for rejoicing with me at this auspicious occasion of my 60th birthday anniversary, God bless you all.
“We will come back here to celebrate again by God’s grace when we win the election.” Akeredolu said.
