Ondo First Lady set to produce 400 fresh Techy girls

No fewer than 400 young girls drawn from the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State and beyond have been admitted for the 2018 BEMORE Summer Bootcamp 4 Girls Naija training program holding at Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State.

The fourteen-day training is the second in its series and will feature information and communication technology (ICT), solar renewable energy technology and other life changing skills.

The free / highly subsidized training, targeted at building capacity and promoting technological advancement among girls, valued at N200,000 per girl is one of the numerous citizens-driven programs of the unique and visionary First Lady of Ondo State: Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwa-Akeredolu, popularly known as “Digital Mama”.

The training package includes, but not limited to, a tablet for each participant, training kits, lecture manuals, free accommodation, free feeding and free medical service delivery.

It would be recalled that Mrs Akeredolu had trained over 300 girls in the first phase of the program which took place during the 2017 summer break.

The camp opened on Sunday, August 12,2018 and the opening ceremony is slated for Monday, August 13, 2018.
