Hon. Agunola Omomowo, the newly elected Chairman, Ilaje Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo State has said that he would serve the people of Ilaje in his best capacity.
He made this promise
in Igbokoda while adressing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chiftains, party supporters, well wishers and people of Ilaje nation over his victory at the just concluded LGA elections.
He also said that he would protect the infratructural and cultural heritage to enhance the peace and security of Ilaje nation to be the best place ever.
“It is a great priviledge to represent the people, i promise to serve in my best capacity for the next three years to ensure that Ilaje nation enjoy the dividents of democracy.
“We can not rule out greay challenges but i believe the challenges will be surmountable with your cooperation and unity.
“I will do all within my power to enhance the services, infrastructure, peace and security, historic and cultural heritage that will make Ilaje nation a wonderful place to live and bring up children,” Omowowo said.
He thanked Almighty God, the state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko for his great performance in the state, party chieftains, supporters and the electorate who gave him the mandate.
OndoEvents reports that Gov. Mimiko on Monday swear in all the 18 LGA chairmen and 203 councilor’s who emerged winners at the April 23 LGA poll.
