The federal lawmaker described the foiled kidnap as an affront on traditional institution in Ondo State in particular and in the country at large.
In a press statement released by his media office in Abuja on Sunday, Honourable Omogbehin expressed appreciation to the people of the area who summoned courage in rescuing the kidnapped elderly woman from her abductors.
The federal legislator renewed his call on the police authorities to provide adequate security for traditional rulers across the country and the citizenry.
He noted that the foiled kidnap of the Olori of Abodi is an abomination in Ikale kingdom.
