Olubaka Showers Encomium On Akeredolu Over Owo-Ikare Road Rehabilitation
The Olubaka of Oka-Akoko, Oba Adebori Adeleye has commended the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for the ongoing rehabilitation of the Owo – Ikare Road which he said was in very bad shape during last year’s Oka Day Celebration.
The monarch, who spoke at the 2019 Oka Day Celebration, thanked Governor Akeredolu for the numerous developmental projects his administration has done in Oka Town.
The Olubaka also appreciated the Governor for appointing three of the sons and daughters of the town as Permanent Secretaries, describing it as unprecedented in the history of Oka.
The monarch further applauded the governor for the ongoing rehabilitation of bad and abandoned boreholes in Oka Town, adding that over 60 boreholes are now functional since the work began last week.
Oba Adeleye, who expressed confidence in the administration of the governor, also expressed his appreciation for the approval given by the Governor for the construction of new schools in the town.
