The Deputy Governor candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming Governorship poll in Ondo state, Bar. John ola Mafo was treated to a triumphant and receptive acceptance at Igbokoda today as he visited the ancient coastal headquarters of Ilaje local government, his first visit after his official nomination as the PDP Deputy Governor candidate.
He was received by a tumultuous crowd of well wishers across the entire Ilaje nation at the ‘zero-zero’ entrance to Igbokoda.
In his speech, Mafo noted that the PDP has just put together a formidable duo in the joint ticket of ‘Eyitayo Jegede and Ola Mafo’, asking that the good people of Ilaje should put hands together to make this sure dream of a greater Ondo state a reality.
John Mafo later visited Ugbo Kingdom, where he conferred with the Olugbo of Ugbo, His imperial majesty, Oba Frederick Akinruntan.
