The Ondo State Governor ,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN has donated an eighteen seater bus to the State Senior Staff Club, to assist the club in carrying out its activities, just as he was conferred the Grand Patron of the Club.
The Governor announced the donation of the bus in Akure during the inauguration of a newly constructed sport complex built by the executive members of the club.
Akeredolu,who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Hon. Agboola Ajayi said the sport facilities will go a long way in keeping members fit mentally and physically for efficient service delivery
Also speaking, the Ondo State Head of Service, Barrister Toyin Akinkuotu lauded the executive members for constructing the sport complex, noting that within a year in office, the executive have achieved a lot.
The Head of Service also noted that the centre is not only for eating and drinking,it also serves as a place for relaxation and intellectual discussions, among members.
In his address,the President of the Club, Comrade Oluwatuyi Ologun said the event was an epoch making in the history of the club, adding that they made use of the little resources available judiciously in building the sport complex.
Comrade Ologun urged the Governor to be visiting the club for relaxation and to interact with the staff.
