National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has condoled with the Executive Governor of Anambra State, H.E. Chief Willie Obiano over the death of the governor’s mother, Mrs. Christiana Obiano who recently passed on at the age of 90.
In a personally signed condolence letter to the Anambra State Governor, the APC National Chairman remembered the late Mrs. Christiana Obiano as a loving mother, devout Christian and humanitarian who dedicated herself to progressive and other charitable initiatives for the progress of our society.
The letter read: “On behalf of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), may I express my heartfelt condolences on the death of your beloved mother and matriarch of the Obiano family, Mrs. Christiana Obiano who recently passed on at the age of 90.
“The late Mrs. Christiana Obiano who lived a purposeful, accomplished and exemplary life will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, devout Christian and humanitarian who dedicated herself to progressive and other charitable initiatives for the progress of our society. She will be sorely missed.
“The testimony of the excellent quality of this great mother is evident in her successful children which include Your Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano.
“I pray that the Almighty God grant your late mother eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the loss.”
