Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has condoled with his Edo  counterpart, Adams Oshiomole over the demise of the  highly revered traditional ruler of Benin Kingdom, Omo n’Oba Erediauwa.

Mimiko in a statement by his Commissioner for Information, Kayode Akinmade at the weekend, also condoled with the people of Benin Kingdom on the passage of the Oba whose over 30 years reign he said was exemplary.

Mimiko described the late monarch  as a role model and successful custodian of the heritage of his kingdom whom he said did not only added value to the Benin stool , but also raised its standard to an enviable height.

Registering that the Oba was a great asset to the Benin Kingdom in particular and  the nation as a whole, Mimiko prayed that the spirit of the departed  Uku Akpolokpolo  will bring glory, peace and more advancement to Benin Kingdom.
