The Ondo state government has enjoined students who sat for the May/June 2016 West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) to go and check their results.

The state commissioner for Education, Mr Jide Adejuyigbe who spoke with Journalists in Akure said all issues surrounding the WAEC fees had been resolved.

He informed that the state government paid 350 million naira for the May/June WAEC fees.

The commissioner said despite the dwindling resources government would continue to prioritise the payment of WAEC fees.

Mr Adejuyigbe also reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing qualitative and affordable education to the people of the state.
