Jegede has never soiled his hands, Says PDP *Labour Union Lauds Jegede

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said her candidate, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, never soiled his hands.

The Chairman of the party, Hon. Clement Clement Faboyede, said this at the meeting of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Ondo State Chapter, Wednesday, in Akure.

At the meeting held at the NLC House, Ondo Road, Akure, the party said, “Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, served in critical government positions while in government, and I can tell you emphatically that throughout the period of his service, he never soiled his hands.”

In his remark, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, thanked the teachers and other members of the NLC present at the meeting for finding him worthy of confidence. He assured them of better dividends of government if elected.

“He said, I thank you members of the Nigerian Labour Congress, National Union of Teachers and lovers of Eyitayo Jegede here present. I am seeking your support because I have great ideas to bring to governance. I offer you access to government, service of distinction and accountability. I can assure you that there are greater opportunities ahead of us.”

Meanwhile, the chair of Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Ondo State Chapter, Comrade (Mrs.) Bosede Daramola, in her Opening Remark, said, “The Union appreciates Mr. Eyitayo Jegede for his uniqueness, simplicity and humility. He is here with us because he realises the fact that teachers are major stakeholders in government.”

Present at the meeting were Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, Hon. Clement Faboyede, retired permanent secretaries, political leaders and serving Commissioners.
