Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, yesterday, launched an electronic newspaper (e-paper) and an email newsletter service on his website, a government statement said.
The statement said its in a bid to harmonise information and make it simpler for people to keep abreast with the administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki’s steps towards making Edo a better place.
Endorsed by his Chief Press Secretary (interim), Mr. John Mayaki, the statement said, “This is pursuant to his promise to the great people of Edo State that he would focus on the media and develop it to enhance his government’s accountability”.
Concerning the e-paper and the newsletter, the governor explained that: “This is just one of many future steps I will take to deliver on my promises.
“While the e-paper is published monthly and hosted on my website, the newsletter series is published on a weekly basis.
“You can subscribe to it on my website, www.godwinobaseki.com and become informed and connected to the state government.
“Information is key in Edo state. Let us GO further, together.”
