Ikale West LCDA: Jimoh Ibrahim Donates N10m To Ilutitun


…Says We Are All At Peace

Senator (Dr) Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR the senator currently representing Ondo South at the Red Chamber, on Sunday donated N10million to the people of Ilutitun for the take-off of the newly created Ikale West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the state.

Meeting with the stakeholders at Ilutitun Town Hall, Ibrahim discussed with the prominent personalities in the community on how they can make the best use of the opportunities provided by the creation of the LCDA.

Oba E. A Idepefo, Majuwa of Ilutitun Morubodo Kingdom, Ilutitun, with some of the high chiefs and prominent Indigenes of the community, had interface with the senator where ideas were on how to take the LCDA to greater heights were exchanged.

He emphasised on how all hands must be on deck to ensure the socio-econonmic spheres of the LCDA is developed within a short time.

Senator Ibrahim, CFR, enjoined Indigenes of the community to cooperate with the leadership of the community, noting that concerted efforts would place the LCDA on a pedestal of development as soon as it takes off.

In the meeting the senator seized the forum to acquaint the people with details of his activities in the Senate.

According to Senator Ibrahim, “This interface is very important to me because I want us to use this opportunity provided to by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration by creating Ikale West LCDA for us.

“This is for us to develop our communities within this LCDA creation. Our socio-economic spheres must not remain the same.

“We can only achieve this with concerted efforts of all and sundry in Ilutitun. It is our business to maximize the opportunity and take Ikale West to greater heights in terms of development.

“I need to inform you also about the steps I have taken so far regarding our challenges in our senatorial district.

“I have presented bill on how to save our people in Aiyetoro and environs from ocean surge.

“I have also presented bill for urgent creation of Bitumen Development Commission for the exploration of the natural deposit in our district for the development of our nation, state and senatorial district.

“More bills are still in waiting for presentation for the improvement of our livelihood.”
