Ogunmusire disclosed this in an interview on Tuesday in Okitipupa while giving account of his 100 days stewardship.
The LGA elections held across the state on April 23.
Ogunmusire lamented the current economic recession, cash crunch and industrial action by Labour Unions which had made his work challenging and tasking in the last 100 days.
He added that he was able to source for funds and achieve some of his landmark through Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and stipends from the state government.
“The economic recession, cash crunch and industrial action made my work to be challenging and tasking in the last 100 days in office.
“Although, i met N40,000 when i resume but i was able to record some achievement through agressive IGR and support from the state government,” Ogunmusire said.
He said his first assignment was restoring electricity and water to the concil’s secretariat by reparing and fuelling the Mikano generator which had been abadoned for past four years.
He added that he also employed non-indigenes and physically challenged persons as staffs to the council secretariat.
He added that his regime installed some falling electricity poles in Okitipupa and enforce regular environmental sanitation exercise by flagging off a 14 plots of land for permanent refuse disposal site in Okitipupa.
According to him, one hectre and three hecters of land have been cleared for proposed Divisional Police Station in Ode Aye and modern market in Igbasan Oloto near Ikoya respectively.
“I also ordered the removal of all abadoned vehicles along the road sides in the LGA especially in Omotosho on the Ore-Benin expressway in order to save lives and properties on our highways,” he said.
Ogunmusire, however, seek the prayers and cooperation of the council workers and the LGA citizens in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
