The Owo country home of the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu was agog on the 1st of July as the Maranatha court residence of the Governor was filled to capacity with men and women of means and substance in Ondo state.

The August gathering of the lovers of the first family in the sunshine state was to felicitate with Arakunrin and his amiable wife, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu over the arrival and naming ceremony of their latest grand daughter, whose christening was taking place at Owo and was live streamed in Toronto, Canada where the parents of the new born baby are resident.

Call it a digital child christening, and you will be on spot! The eminent guests gathered at the palatial living room of the Governor for the eventful child naming ceremony. The parents and guests expressed their pleasure and excitement as well as appreciation to God when the Anglican priest pronounced Governor Akeredolu’s grand daughter’s name:  Mosepejojo Ogechikanma Morayo Nmachukwu Chinemere Akeredolu.

Guests were entertained at a grand reception which followed at the Governor’s premises.
