Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on Friday, 12th October 2018, paid a condolence visit to the widow and children of Chief Olu Agbi who died on Tuesday.

Governor Akeredolu expressed his condolences on behalf of the state. He described the death of the former Ambassor as a big loss.

The Governor noted that the late Agbi has done the state proud having served as Secretary to the state Government (SSG) and later as a Nigeria ambassor to Greece.

Governor Akeredolu described the late Asiwaju of Akure land as a man whose interest for the development of the state was beyond politics.

He said “His passion was always about moving the state forward. He believed in Ondo State and had made a lot of sacrifices for Ondo State

“His work on earth will never be forgotten. Ondo State will remember him for his good works and Nigeria will remember him for his great work. He was a great ambassor. We thank God for a life well spent. He came, he saw and he conquered. “
