” You have to work hard as lawyers ! You have to be dedicated and committed to the business of law. As lawyers there are times you may have to sleep in the office. I am sure working hard doesn’t kill because even a lazy man will die.

“It’s usually said that lawyers don’t sell cement . The only business that lawyers do is law. If you must succeed as lawyers, you have to work very hard ”

The above were the encouragement of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN to young lawyers at the new law office of the First Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA) Ike Akaraiwe, ESQ on Wednesday 7th February, 2018 in Enugu.

Ike Akaraiwe, ESQ was the Vice President of Nigerian Bar Association when the Governor was the President. He appreciated Governor Akeredolu for mentoring him during his time.

” Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN mentored me. He taught me leadership. I mean, he shown me what it takes to provide leadership – firmness, uprightness and commitment to the welfare of the people “, Akaraiwe added.
