Gov Akeredolu has brought transparency into governance, says Jegun of Ile-oluji

The paramount ruler of Ile-oluji, Oba (Dr.) Julius Olufaderin Adetimehin has commended the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration for institutionalizing professionalism,transparency and accountability into governance in the state.
Speaking at a reception organised by the Jegun in Council in honour of the newly appointed Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa, Oba Adetimehin said the current government in Ondo State had undertaken reformatory and impressive steps that are marked departure from the past.
The Royal Majesty appreciated the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN for the choice of Mr Wale Akinterinwa as Commissioner in Ondo State.
While admonishing citizens of Ile-Oluji to always relate with the new commissioner with patience and high level of understanding in view of the current economic realities of the nation, Oba Adetimehin said citizens should not for any reason unduly pressurize the new commissioner.
The monarch assured the State Government and the new commissioner of continued prayers of all sons and daughters of Ile-oluji towards a glittering success of the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu administration.
Earlier, in his welcome address a leader in the community, Engineer Sam Adegboyega had said that the event was first for a political appointee in the town, consequent upon the unparalleled commitments of the new commissioner to the development of Ile-oluji kingdom.
Engineer Adegboyega, who said the Ile-oluji citizens have uncommon zeal and culture of selfless service at advancing development, assured Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu that Mr Wale Akinterinwa would not disappoint the state in the discharge of his duties as Commissioner for Finance.
In his response, Wale Akinterinwa, who was accompanied to the event by some of his colleagues in the Ondo State Executive Council, said he would work to justify the confidence reposed in him by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Jegun in Council and the people of Ile-oluji.
