God the Father made me governor NOT ‘godfather’ says Gov. Akeredolu
Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, says his emergence as Ondo State Governor was by divine arrangement of God the Father and not by the influence of any godfather.
Testifying to the faithfulness of God in his life at the Corner Stone International Ministry
Ringroad, Ibadan, Governor Akeredolu recalled that he won the Primary election of his party to secure the mandate of the party for the 2016 November Governorship election without the influence of any godfather but that of God the Father.
This development which had hitherto been alien to Nigerian party politics on one hand reinforced his faith in God and on the other, it has become a reference point at strengthening democracy in Nigeria.
Speaking on the reason he had to allow the Cornerstone International Ministry to take over the use of a hall in his office premises as Church Auditorium, the governor said he would always appreciate God and do all he could to populate the kingdom of God by doing all he could to assist the church of the living God.
Earlier, Bishop Victor Adelakun and the presiding clergy, Pastor Abiola Daodu said Arakunrin Akeredolu became governor to make positive impact on the lives of the people of Ondo State.
Highpoint of the service was a special songs dedicated to the governor and prayers for his family, Ondo state and the nation at large.
