The lucky Gubernatorial Aspirant, Barr. Eyitayo Jegede SAN rounded up his lobbying for votes yesterday 20th August, 2016 as he visited Idanre,Owo and Ose Local Government Areas. Below are what transpired in the said political arena.

At Idanre tumultuous crowds waited patiently at Alade to welcome the August visitor. The Youths, Market Women, Farmers Association, Students, PDP leaders and supporters are all singing and dancing as Eyitayo Jegede drove to the Hilly Town of Idanre. The Okada riders and motorists NURTW and RTEAN were seen jubilating and shouting Eyiwunmi ooooooooooo. The Chief of Staff Dr. Kola Ademujimi and Barr. Eyitayo Jegede mounted an open Hillux and waved admiringly to the teeming crowds.
The good people of Idanre promised wholeheartedly to cast there votes for Barr. Eyitayo Jegede SAN both in the primary and main gubernatorial election.
They demanded establishment of Institution of Higher Learning in Idanre township.
They implored Barr. Eyitayo Jegede to ensure peaceful atmosphere reign pertaining to boundary disputes between Idanre and Akure City. The Chief of Staff Dr. Kola Ademujimi in his speech described Barr. Eyiatayo Jegede as a man highly intelligent, honest, painstaking, hardworking, handsome, productive and friendly indeed. He affirmed confidently that the man will exchange baton of governance from the incumbent Dr.Olusegun Mimiko The Executive Governor of Ondo State. He went further, opposition parties are not existing here in Idanre and we are going to deliver our votes overwhelmingly for your candidature. He boasted that God Almighty will guarantee peaceful co existence in our midst.
At Owo Township: The good people of ancient Owo assembled at Mapo Hall, Owo. The main Auditorium was filled to the brim. The party leaders at Owo confirmed that Barr. Eyitayo Jegede’s mother hailed from Ipele town in Owo kingdom. They charged him not to forget extension of benefits to Owo local government area. They pledged that Delegates from the environment will cast all there votes for him accordingly. He was implored not to entertain fear as the living God has ordained him as the next Governor of Ondo State.

At Ose LGA, the party faithfuls assembled in front of the party office.The first state Chairman of PDP Hon. Samuel Awodeyi was physically present. Tokunbo Modupe a multi millionaire businessman cum dynamic politician spoke about the landslide achievements of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko in the State and Ose Local Government in particular. The man postulated that Ose has no faction within the party as they believe in the leadership of Senator Ahmed Markafi.According to him Owo and Ose Federal Constituency will deliver there votes embloc for the candidature of Barr. Eyitayo Jegede SAN.
In a similar circumstance, Hon. Bobby Omotoso a former federal parliamentarian reeled out the qualities embedded in the person of Barr. Eyitayo Jegede SAN. According to him the man used his position as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice to effect the bail of our men arrested at Okeluse on electoral matters. The man went further,the Eyitayo Jegede’s Governorship project is signed,bsealed and delivered in Jesus name, the entire congregation shouted aloud Amen.
They demanded empowerment for the members of the party and provision of infrastructural facilities.
Barr. Eyitayo Jegede’s response:
1.He salute everyone in attendance and expressed gratitude for sparing there precious time.
2.He promised in the Lord to make life meaningful and bearable for the citizenry.
3.The man pledged to consult critical stakeholders from the grassroots before taking decisions.
4.The aspirant opined vehemently to ensure peaceful co existence between idanre and Akure people.
5.Hear him, In about ten year’s time Akure and Idanre will link together naturally.
6.On the establishment of Higher institution,he averred to look into it if voted into office.
7.He affirmed that her mother hailed from Ipele in Owo kingdom and they can never be forgotten.
8.I will continue with beautification projects of urban and rural development embarked upon by incumbent Governor Dr.Olusegun Mimiko.
9.He posited,I will grant grant small scale loans to women,Youths,Farmers,transporters,etc in order to ensure greater productivity.
10.The bursaries and scholarships for students will be more regular because we believe the economy will surely improve soonest.
11.He enjoin the delegates to cast there votes for him on 22nd August, 2016 at Akure.
12.Subsequently, he appealed to the good people of Ondo State to cast there votes for him on 26th November, 2016 Gubernatorial Election.
