The Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari on Niger Delta Affairs and Coordinator Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh (rtd) has pledged his support for the initiative of the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria (BRECAN)
Boroh said this on Tuesday in his office in Abuja, while receiving the founder and the initiator of BRECAN, Her Excellency, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, during a courtesy call paid to his office.
He lauded the organisation as bold revolution to bring an end to women dying of the breast cancer disease in Nigeria.
The retired military general who used the occasion to payed a glowing tribute to the Ondo State First Lady over the creation of BRECAN, however stressed the needs for women in the country to key into the activities of the organisation in its effort at eradication breast cancer in the country.
Earlier, the Ondo State First Lady, Mrs. Betty-Anyanwu Akeredolu, said the visit to the office of the Special Adviser was aimed towards soliciting his supports and to brief him on the activities of the organisation across the country.
