BEMORE Empowered Girls Foundation Sets to Hold its 2023 Edition of Summer Bootcamp, Empowering Young Girls in Stem and Entrepreneurship

Akure, Ondo State – BEMORE EMPOWERED GIRLS FOUNDATION is proud to announce that it will be hosting the highly anticipated 2023 edition of the BEMORE Summer Boot Camp from August 13th to August 26th, 2023. The event will take place at Mabest Academy, Oke-Ijebu, Akure.
The BEMORE Summer Boot Camp is an innovative initiative aimed at empowering young girls with essential skills and knowledge in various fields, including technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development.
Founded by Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the First Lady of Ondo State, the Bemore Empowered Girls Foundation has established itself as Africa’s largest girls-only Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Entrepreneurship (STEM+E) boot camp.
Open to female participants in secondary school between the ages of 12 and 18, the Summer Boot Camp has successfully trained over 2,500 participants, equipping them with the confidence and competence to become future women leaders who redefine the narrative of womanhood.
Since its inception in 2017, the annual program has been dedicated to fostering critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The comprehensive curriculum offers interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and motivational sessions led by industry experts and experienced mentors. The program also includes recreational activities and team-building exercises to provide a well-rounded experience for all participants.
The BEMORE initiative takes great pride in serving as a University of Life and a platform that nurtures the next generation of female technology leaders, capable of effecting positive change and ensuring ethical leadership.
This inclusive program embraces diversity and caters to the needs of all girls, including those with hearing impairments.
