Bemore 2023: Participants Produce Reusable Sanitary Pads, Undertake Marshmallow Challenge

- Take Lessons on Leadership
As the Bemore Summer Boot Camp hits the fourth day on Thursday, participants have successfully produced reusable sanitary pads.
The girls had arrived at the camp for the sixth edition of the camp on Sunday; they began the class on menstrual health and hygiene on Wednesday, repeated it on Thursday after which they produced their first set of reusable sanitary pads.

To inspire team-bonding among the girls, they also engaged in marshmallow challenge, a competition among the various SDG groups on who builds the tallest free-standing structure out of 20 sticks of spaghetti, one meter of tape, one meter of string, and one marshmallow.

They had a class on leadership, its essence, types and qualities; and another class on musical performance.
Meanwhile, the fourth day had commenced with morning physical exercise, being part of the standard of operations (SOP) for the boot camp and a delibrate way to instill into the girls the culture of living a healthy lifestyle.
Also, progress has been made with the training of Bemore Girls in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as they continued with lessons on the basics- including Microsoft Excel, Word Excel, Power Point, graphics and Coding.

Bemore Boot Camp holds between 13th and 26th August at Mabest Academy, Oke-Ijebu, Akure, Ondo State Capital.
