To start with, he appointed five formidable men from the constituency as his Legislative Assistants to assist him for effective representation.

For the records, in depth investigations revealed that Omogbehin is the only federal Lawmaker in Ikale land that didn’t shortchange his people in the appointment of his aides.

In his quick win projects, in his quest to give his constituency a new look and make the roads accessible, he graded major service roads across Okitipupa/ Irele federal constituency; not fewer than 25 major roads were given a new look.

While demonstrating his love for the youth, he has given scholarships to all the prospective Law School students in his constituency and also gave bursary to four hundred and sixty (460) undergraduate students who qualified for the bursary through a rigorous qualifying test.

Aside that, he has also donated six computer sets and accessories to the Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH),Okitipupa, while promising to facilitate more federal projects in the institution.

What is a school without a library? It is just like a church cathedral without worshippers. One pertinent way to improve the reading culture of people in the constituency is by building more libraries and equipping them with contemporary books relevant to modern learning.

On the 17th of April, 2017, Consistent with his belief, Hon. Omogbehin did not only commission a library at Idepe High School, he also equipped it with modern books, as the Jowiri High School libary in Ajagba is nearing completion.

Experts have made it known that to make a pragmatic headway in the agricultural sector, there must be mechanised approach to farming. Perhaps this factor must have been responsible for the Lawmaker’s decision to organise a Post-season Intervention programme for farmers in the constituency.

At the end of the three-day programme, which was held between February 28 and March 4, 2017 at Maryland Hotel, Okitipupa, participants were taught new techniques in trading and farming, especially how to store and produce farm produce.

To add colour to the training programme, participants were given reasonable amount of money.

Artisans, too, are a critical part of the economic hub of any society. Over the years, Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA), the umbrella body of automobile technicians, has been neglected by politicians in terms of empowerment perks.

Hon. Omogbehin promised to assist them if they could give him their votes in 2015. Truthful to his words, the colourful Lawmaker has been giving back to the association. On April 17, 2017, Omogbehin donated handheld scanning machine, tools and vulcanizer tyre gauges to the association which will help them to prevent trial and error, thus helping them to diagnose accurately any fault which will improve their productivity.

In the buildup to the 2015 general elections, when the Lawmaker was asked about his plan for healthcare system in the constituency by a clever reporter, Omogbehin replied thus: Rural healthcare is also paramount on my mind, and it will be given priority. We shall collaborate with the Ministry of Health and International Heath Organisations in providing good healthcare to the people in the rural areas within this constituency’’.

To those who know the Lawmaker as a man of his words, they were not surprised when he procured and distributed two ambulances well-stocked with drugs and modern medical equipment to the Primary Health Unit of each of the two local governments that make up the constituency on April 17, 2017.

Unemployment has become a recurrent decimal, especially amongst the youth in Nigeria. This, unfortunately, is happening at a period when the youth population is increasing at an alarming proportion in two years in office. On the account of this, Omogbehin has given jobs to not less than 15 youths.

His efforts in ensuring electricity is restored to his constituency can’t be over-emphasised. In his first ninety days as a Lawmaker, he jointly moved a motion on the need to reconnect Ondo South senatorial district to the National grid, which was jointly done by the duo; Hon. Kolade Akinjo and Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin. Unfortunately, up to this moment while every legislative input and activity has been completed, the executives are yet to give bite to these resolutions.

The energetic Lawmaker On Tuesday March 7, led the delegation of traditional rulers across the constituency to the office of Hon. Minister of Power Works and Housing Babatunde Fasola, where the latter promised to assist in making sure electricity is back to the region in no distant time.

Recently, his bill on need to provide for farmers registration act, was presented in the Green Chamber as his motion on devastating emotions threatening his constituency, was read earlier this year.
