Ejigbo Stakeholders felicitates with Governor Oyetola
Representatives of the people of Ejigbo Federal constituency led by the Speaker Osun House of Assembly and Federal Commissioner Senator Mudashiru with other eminent sons and daughters of Ejigbo have visited the Iragbiji Country home of Osun newly sworn in Governor His Excellency Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola over the weekend to congratulate him and register their support for his administration.
The team who were visibly excited narrated how they stood unflinching for the candidacy of Oyetola after he emerged winner of the all Progressives Congress primaries up till the general elections . They recalled his exceptional performance in the course of the eight years he served as Chief of Staff under Governor Aregbesola and hoped he would replicate same and even surpass his records over the next four years.
Dr Najeem Salaam who introduced the team to the new governor one after another extolled the virtues of his townspeople and their staying power . He noted that they are staunch progressives who stood rock solid from the days of Alliance for Democracy until the present day APC. He expressed believe in Governor Oyetola and promised Osun people the best years have just began.
Other speakers like Prince Boye Jaiyeola, Alhaji Musa Oloyede and the Iyaloja of Ejigbo Chief Mrs Janet Ogunkola were unanimous as they reiterated their unalloyed support and pray for landing success for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola just as was granted former Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
In his response, Governor Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola thanked the people for the visit. He expressed gratitude for their rock solid support overtime and promised them it would be a mutual all inclusive Governance where their voice would always be heard.
‘ I am pleased to receive you today. Ejigbo people are very dear to us. The town has always been our stronghold and is home to not a few number of the APC core loyalists. I reassure you once again as I said during our campaign that this is and would always your government. We are in this together and you would always have a say. I can’t thank you enough’.
