The Education Secretary Akoko south/west local government area of Ondo state, Akogun Gbenga Omole, has reiterated the readiness of the Akeredolu-led administration in the state to embark on the total rehabilitations of schools across the state.

Omole dropped the hint yesterday in Oka Akoko, headquarters  of the local government during a meeting held with the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) as well as Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (ASPHION) after a week long inspections of schools in the area.

The education secretary who explained that the meeting with the two groups has became imperative in order to access the level of development in all the schools in the area and to know where the government could come to their assistant.

He lamented over what he called lack of infrastructural development in some of the schools in the area, but promised that the administration of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Aketedolu would soon embark on the total rehabilitations of schools in the area, saying the move is part of the resolve of the governent in the just concluded education summit held in the state.
