The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Engr. Ade Adetimehin, on behalf of APC, Ondo State chapter joins the First Family and people of the state as well as other Nigerians to wish His Excellency, the Governor of Ondo State, Barrister. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu a HAPPY BIRTHDAY on his 61st birthday anniversary.
We use this opportunity to ACKNOWLEDGE AND HONOUR A GREAT LEADER, as well as a peace-loving Governor whose devotion to the cause of our State and Nation is legendary.
Arakunrin, as a technocrat in politics, you have been steadfast in defending the struggle to redeem our state’s economy that has been battered and bruised overtime, thereby paving the way for the socio-economic and political development of our Dear State. The State on which you have reposed so much responsibility and trust values the great contributions that you have made towards empowering the people economically through regular payment of workers’ salaries and your various Economic Empowerment Programmes for the people . We continue to value your courage in the ongoing efforts to making sure that Ondo State becomes one of the developed states in Nigeria, and continue to have global recognition in terms of the available resources in the state such as Agriculture, Tourism, etc.
This you have expressed through various approaches viz: Using agriculture to drive employment in the state through carefully crafted programmes of engagement of the youths that will eventually trigger Agric revolution in the state and boost food security.
. The magnitude of construction works which have been embarked upon and completed and those that are still on going revealed how determined you are in turning the state around as promised.
. The signing of Mou with NDDC on Olokola project to build a 27-kilometer overhead bridge across the sea that will link Ilaje with Lekki in Lagos State.
. The Farmers Micro Finance Bank that will afford farmers easy access to finance and revive the cooperative society culture and spirit, that will transform the state economy right from the grassroots.
. Embarking on a 10,000 Hectares afforestation project among others to fight climate change, with a view to bringing back our forest and preserve it as an heritage for the future generations.
. Getting the Kalahari goat specie from SA to upgrade our local goats among other achievements of your administration.
Mr Governor, As you celebrate your 61st anniversary, we identify with your strong will to rescue the state through your Redemption Agenda. The leadership of APC and indeed the entire members of our great party are saying a BIG THANK YOU for promoting peace and synergy between your government and the party for the overall development of the State.
