The All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, has commends the foiled attempted kidnap of Olori Grace Faduyile the wife of The Abodi of Ikale-Land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba G.B. Faduyile, early this morning, Sunday, 15th January, 2017, in front of the Palace at Ikoya.
The Party, in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, condemned the actions of the kidnappers as sacrilegious and a taboo in Yoruba land. Adesanya commends the bravery of hunters and people of Ikale for their swift reaction to confront the kidnappers in a gun battle to rescue Her Highness, The Olori of Ikale-Land, from the den of the kidnappers, which resulted into the killing of one of the kidnappers and the capturing of one alive.
The Party charged the police and other security agencies on ‘Intelligence Gathering’ to forestall crimes, and to always beef-up security around our Traditional Rulers, schools and the citizenry to curb these menace in our society, the statement reads.
