A group of market women under the aegis of Eyitayo Women’s Forum have called on Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) to join the race to occupy the Alagbaka Goverment House and also expressed their readiness to mobilize and work for his success when he eventually does.

The women made the pledge on Thursday 19th May, 2016 at the opening of the State Secretariat of Eyitayo Volunteer Group (EVG). The meeting had in attendance the Coordinator of Eyitayo Volunteer Group Hon. Olumide Ogunkua, Hon. Banji Fatukasi and ex-chairperson of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Hon. (Mrs.) Yetunde Dada among others.

The leader of the women group Chief (Mrs.) Temidayo Bolarinwa who is also the Iyaloja of Isinkan said the women have resolved to work for Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) because of his leadership qualities and antecedents

The Coordinator of Eyitayo Volunteer Group (EVG) Hon. Olumide Ogunkua expressed joy and satisfaction with the way and manner the women organized themselves. He urged them to maintain their stand and be prayerful as the success of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) will usher in unprecedented development in Ondo State.

While addressing the women, Hon. Banji Fatukasi enjoined the them to be steadfast and remain united, as a house divided against itself will crumble.

The immediate past Chairperson of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Hon. (Mrs.) Yetunde Dada while speaking said the achievements of Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) are there for all to see and that evidence abound across the State that Eyitayo is now the centre of attraction in the choice of next occupant of the Alagbaka Government House.

The women group vowed to continue mobilizing themselves and hold meetings from time to time.
