Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Ondo State branch led by the chairman Pharmacist Ogunjemiyo Olabode, paid a courtesy call to the wife of the Governor, Ondo State, at her Office.
The group founded in 1927 is the umbrella body of all pharmacists in Nigeria with a vision to make health care accessible, to provide safe, effective and affordable medicine to Nigerians.
During the visit the organisation assured Her Excellency of plans to intensify effort to combat the spread of fake and unwholesome product in Ondo State through the establishment of Ondo State Task Force On Fake and Counterfeit Drugs chaired by the Director of pharmaceutical services at the ministry of health.
Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu in her response commended the effort of the organisation in providing better health care for people of Ondo state. She reminded the organisation of the huge role it will play in the advocacy for cancer control in Ondo state. She further assured them of the support of Arakunrin’s administration in their continuous effort to provide better healthcare services to the good people of Ondo state.
