Akeredolu Condoles With Aiyegbusi Family, Says Late APC Chieftain was A Pillar of Progressive Politics
Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Chief Felix Aiyegbusi who died recently in Arigidi Akoko, Akoko North West Local Government Area of the state.
The governor described the late Aiyegbusi as a pillar of progressive politics who was consistent throughout his life time.
Governor Akeredolu led members of the State Executive Council and the State Working Committee (SEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, including the Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, to the residence of the late APC chieftain in Arigidi Akoko.
Earlier, one of the Children of the deceased, Mr Fola Aiyegbusi, who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked the governor for creating time to visit them, stressing that the family was greatly overwhelmed with the governor’s show of love and respect for elders.
Mr Aiyegbusi said the entire family were not only gladdened by the timely release of the Governor’s Press Statement shortly after the demise of their father, but were also greatly honoured by the kind words of the governor on their father.
He equally thanked the leadership of the All Progressives Congress in the state, led by the State Chairman, Engr Adetimehin for the love shown to the family since the demise of their patriarch.
