Akeredolu, APC Governorship candidate, promises to revive Ondo state from its present doldrums

The Apc Governorship candidate in the forthcoming guber poll in Ondo state has socio-economic revival for the people of Ondo state if they give him their overwhelming votes come November 26th, 2016. He said his desire is to make Ondo state compete favorably with other states in Nigeria. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) noted that he is driven by passion to govern Ondo state and bring out the best potential of the state that will put food on the table and put smile on the face of the entire citizenry.

He made this pledge during his campaign on Friday in Okitipupa and other towns in the Okitipupa Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

The govership election across the state was scheduled for Nov. 26.

Akeredolu also promised to restore electricity back to Okitipupa LGA that had been in total darkness for over two years.

“We are poised to revive Ondo State and make the state viable again and restore the state back to her old glory, the youths and women shall be empowered for them to be in their rightful place”

“We have taken stocks of the wants of our people in Okitipupa LGA, we shall restore electricity back to Okitipupa LGA that have been in total darkness for the past two years now,’’ Akeredolu said.

He, however, sought for the support of the Okitipupa LGA residents urging them to troop out en masse to vote the APC at the Nov. 26 governorship election.

Earlier, Akeredolu and his running mate, Mr Agboola Ajayi had been giving royal blessings by royal fathers, Oba Raphael Olumoyegun, the Olu-Iju of Iju-Odo and Oba Samuel Idepefo, the Majuwa of Ilutitun.

OndoEvents reports that a mammoth crowd thronged to Okitipupa round-about, venue of the campaign ground to give their support to Akeredolu and his political entourage involving dignitaries in the APC.
