Akeredolu A Role Model For Good Governance, Says Ondo Monarch
The Owa of Araromi Omoladan Kingdom in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Jayeoba Bamidele Alabi, has said Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, will be a model for successive Governors who would be desirous of development and progress of the state.
The monarch said Akeredolu’s successor will need energy and dedication to match his sterling leadership qualities, which he said have brought unprecedented development to the sunshine state.
Oba Alabi spoke at the Governor’s office on Tuesday, 16th July, 2019, during a courtesy visit to the Governor.
He said the people of his local government area have never had it this good, stressing that the Akeredolu’s instant impact on the people of the State will stand the test of time, as evident everywhere.
The monarch, who said he was ready to support Governor Akeredolu for second term in Office because of his numerous achievements, thanked the Governor for opening up towns and communities in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state.
The traditional ruler, however, sought Government’s support in constructing the only road in the town which he said has never been considered by any past administration.
Responding, Governor Akeredolu appreciated the monarch for all he has been able to do within his community, adding that the government will find a way to extend the road construction to the area.
He promised that his administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of the people, vowing that no part of the state will be left behind in the developmental drive of his administration.
