The wife of Ondo State Governor, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu has affirmed that the great works done by Chief Michael Ade Ojo has succeeded in placing Ilara Mokin on the world map.
Addressing the gathering at the grand opening ceremony and official commissioning of 7kilometers road constructed in Ilara by Chief Ade Ojo, Mrs. Akeredolu described Chief Ade Ojo as a philanthropist per excellence.
Tracing the success of BEMORE Summer Bootcamps, Mrs. Akeredolu said Chief Ade Ojo is one of the pillars of the programme which has in the last three years trained over 1,000 girls in ICT and Solar Technology.
Mrs. Akeredolu while expressing warmest greetings from the Governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, commended Chief Ade Ojo while urging others to emulate his selfless gestures.
In his own address, the Hon.Minister for Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fasola while praising Chief Ade Ojo for his strides said government cannot do everything and as such, well meaning Nigerians should emulate the good works of Chief Ade Ojo who has left no one in doubt of his passion for his people.
The minister who described Chief Ade Ojo as a great visionary affirmed that his venture into infrastructural development is another great chapter in the array of his achievements.
While commissioning Ilara – Ikota road, Mr. Fasola prayed that the gesture to construct a road network for the benefit of a neighbouring community, Ikota will further unite the communities.
The climax of the event however was the official commissioning and unveiling of the roads, the plaques and the road race.
Earlier in his address, Chief Ade Ojo said he was happy that another developmental effort has been successfully completed, he further charged others to strive to give back to the society for posterity sake.
Also in attendance at the event were Senator Tayo Alashoadura, the Deji of Akure kingdom, HRM Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, Odundun II, Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Olowo of Owo, HRM, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin, Alara of Ilara, Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefehinti and Olori, among other royal fathers.
