Senator Jimoh Ibrahim To Be Guest Speaker At University of Buckingham Convocation

Senator representing Ondo Southern Senatorial District, Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim CFR has been invited by University of Buckingham, United Kingdom to be the guest speaker at the varsity’s graduation ceremony in April.

In a letter addressed to the senator by the University made available to newsmen, the university formally invited the Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, who is an alumnus of the varsity, to be the guest speaker at the graduation ceremony coming up on Friday, April 11, 2025.

The billionaire business magnate is expected to motivate the fresh graduates as they are set to embark on new phase of life.

The letter signed by Mr. Chris Payne, the registrar and administrative officer of the University, revealed that the senator’s son, Ademola, would be among the fresh graduating students.

A source close to the Senator Jimoh Ibrahim revealed that Ademola is graduating a First Class grade.

The letter reads in parts: “On behalf of The University of Buckingham, it is my honour to extend a formal invitation to you as a distinguished guest speaker at our upcoming graduation ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on Friday 11 April at 11:00am, which I believe will also mark the graduation of Ademola.

“As an esteemed leader and proud alumni of the university, your insights and life experiences would be of immense value to our graduating students.

“We believe that your words of
encouragement and wisdom would greatly motivate and guide many of our graduates as they embark on their next journey.

“The graduation ceremony is a significant event for our students, their families, and the university community.

“We would be delighted to have you share your expertise and perspective with our graduates and would be honoured to host you at a reception following the ceremony.”
