2019 OSOPADEC Prayer Meeting: Edema encourages Staff to improve on previous year
The Chairman of Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Hon. (Barr.) Olugbenga Edema, has charged all staff of the Commission to make every effort in ensuring the assets of the Commission are well taken care of as if it were their own.
Hon. Edema gave this charge during the Commission’s first prayer meeting for the year 2019, held on Wednesday, 2nd January at its Oba-Ile office in Akure.
While appreciating the support and cooperation received from staff in the Commission since his assumption of office, he noted the greatest asset of the Commission as its workforce, adding that motivation of the staff through various welfare packages and relevant training in their respective fields is key to a productive workforce. He expressed joy that all salaries and outstanding have been paid workers and advised the staff to put in their best in the new year to move the Commission forward.
Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Union Chairman, Mr. Wole Ehinmowo, thanked the Chairman for prioritizing the welfare of workers through prompt payment of salaries and arrears.
