Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has again assured of his administration’s commitment to qualitative, improved and accessible health care delivery system for the citizens of the state.
Akeredolu said by the time the Akure Teaching Hospital is completed, it would be a state-of-the-art and add value to the state and the people.
The Governor spoke on Wednesday during a courtesy visit by the International Association of Lions Clubs District 404 A1, Nigeria, at the Governor’s office, Alagbaka, Akure.
Governor Akeredolu appreciated the Lions Club for its various humanitarian services in the state and readiness to support government especially in the area of health care delivery system to further serve humanity.
The incoming District Governor of the Clubs, Lion Adekunle Adedipe, commended the governor for his excellent performance especially in the areas of health care delivery and unprecedented infrastructural development of the state.
According to him, as a promoter of good governance and citizenship, the clubs saw and commended Governor Akeredolu led government for the aggressive all-round development in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
“With your numerous achievements in health, infrastructure in the last two years, you have shown to the whole world that you are a servant leader. You are serving and serving well. The rate of development in the last two years is sporadic. It is not the number of kilometres of road you have constructed but by the speed with which you are doing it,” he added.
